Disclosure

Here is all of the fine print you need to know while interacting with CookWithaShoe.com in accordance with the FTC guidelines to be fully transparent about how and when I am compensated on CookWithaShoe.com.

Cook With a Shoe is a personal blog written and edited by me. If you have any questions about this blog, please contact Charissa Quade.

I started CookWithaShoe.com as a way to share with those, who are struggling financially, what I have learned about paying off debt, budgeting, and living on less than you make. My main goal is to encourage others to take the steps necessary to live on a budget and pay off debt while providing practical examples from my life.

Since I am spending so much time running this blog and my time is valuable, I have decided to operate this blog in a professional manner as a side job to bring in additional income.

In order to offset the costs associated with this website, including hosting fees, blog design, and my own time, I do receive compensation in many ways. I love being able to serve my readers through CookWithaShoe.com, however I do get paid for my work.

My opinion and my integrity

My integrity is extremely important to me in all aspects of my life. I will never share something with you unless I personally use and like it enough to recommend, even if I am offered compensation to do so. While I am, sometimes, compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics, the opinions that I share will be strictly my own.

I will provide you with my honest feedback, opinions, findings, beliefs, or experience with these topics or products.

Free Stuff and Product Reviews

I may accept free stuff from marketers or companies. Chances are I will use these freebies as a give-away on my site, however if I like the freebie enough to keep it, I will disclose that I received this item for free. My opinions about the free products will be purely my own and any product claim, statistic, quote or representation about a product will need to be verified with the manufacturer.

I normally do not do paid product reviews. However, if I do review a product that would match the interests of my readers, I will promptly disclose that I received that item for free and by whom. If I do not say anything, then it is safe to assume I had purchased the item myself and love it so much that I want to share it with you.

Again, I only share companies, products and services that I personally use and like. Please do not spend any money on something just because I recommend the product, however only purchase these products or services if they will benefit you and help you succeed.

Not all endorsed products or sites are sponsored and I will do my best to inform you of which sites or products are and are not sponsored.

All opinions on here are purely my own about products or services that I have personally purchased and/or used. Sponsored products and sites may change between the time the post was written and the present.

Affiliate Marketing

One source of revenue for CookWithaShoe.com is through affiliate marketing.

You should assume that most of the links or products featured on this blog contain affiliate links where I will get a small kick back from the merchant if you purchase from the links, but your price will remain the same.

I will only link to something that either I have used personally and like with all opinions being my own. The items linked within this website may be found elsewhere for cheaper. If you decide you do not want to purchase through that link, then by all means Google the item and purchase it elsewhere. It does not matter to me and we can still be friends, ok?

Cook With a Shoe is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.

I do not sell ad space, which means any links within my blog, on my sidebar, or to external links will not give me a commission, (unless you click on a link that is to one of my affiliate partners).
