How to make money by flipping creative items for profit
Working from home takes on a whole new meaning when talking to Melissa. She, along with her husband Rob, make a living and support their family by flipping creative items for profit that they find at the flea market or thrift stores.
They are able to have the freedom to be home with their family and are setting out on a new adventure of traveling the country in their RV. All because their side hustle has turned into a full time job that can be done from anywhere. It's a pleasure to welcome Melissa to the kitchen table.
Do you like visiting flea markets, thrift stores, yard sales, or auctions? Do you love finding great deals on brand name items?
What if I said you could turn this hobby into something VERY profitable? Something that could make you a great side income to fill the gaps in your finances – or even a full time income if you decide you love it?
Flipping creative items for profit has turned into our main income source over the last couple of years and I want to show how you can do the same for your family!
If you would have told me 11 years ago that you could sell used items online for an income, I probably would have laughed at you.
As a kid, my family visited second hand stores sometimes to find furniture or decorations for our house, but we had never thought to make money with some of our discounted items.
Then in 2006 I met my husband Rob. He was a different kind of guy in that he thought outside the box. He didn’t have a traditional job – he told me he bought and sold used items on eBay.
I thought it was a little strange, but I couldn’t really say anything because I worked as a horse rider at a dinner show at the time. He actually made WAY MORE money than I did per month – and just by selling and flipping creative items for profit from the flea market and thrift store.
How was that even possible?
Fast forward to present day. We are married with 3 little kids, and this is our PRIMARY source of income at the moment.
Again, if you would have told me this before, I would have probably laughed, but it can seriously be a money maker if you let it.
Maybe you aren’t looking for a career change, but you might be in the market for something that could be adding to your savings account and/or vacation fund. Or maybe you are wanting to pay ALL the bills each month- not just some of them.

It has always been something to fill the gaps in our finances, and recently it has turned into our full time income.
